Tech Specialist

Position Description:
In this position, you would be placed on a specialized team responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a specific type of equipment.
The department is looking for a responsible individual with a positive attitude who is eager to learn. Items of repair include terminals, printers, monitors, networking equipment and PCs. Repairs can be basic or complex including component level repairs and will be handled from start to finish. Good training skills are a plus for this position as you may be required to train newly hired part-time personnel on basic repairs.
Opportunities for advancement exist throughout the shop and the desire for long-term growth in a corporate-production environment is a plus.
Training:
Previous technical knowledge and repair is a plus, but no experience is necessary as we will fully train you on everything needed to complete the job. The average training period consists of heavy "hands-on" experience and usually lasts 3 to 4 months. You will be working with experienced part-time and veteran full-time personnel during this time period.
