The Reynolds and Reynolds Company announced today unique opportunities for attendees of the Reynolds Retail Summit: Amplify 2023. Demonstrations of several new tools debuting at this two-day event headline Reynolds’ push for innovative ways dealerships can approach retailing. The summit is being held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway September 25-26 and is open to all dealership professionals, regardless of DMS, as Reynolds promotes collaboration, discovery, and growth of the retail automotive industry.
AutoVision is one of the many tools being unveiled at the summit. It brings four key areas together when retailing a used vehicle: acquisition, reconditioning, inventory management, and merchandising. With its cutting edge technology, AutoVision can adjust to market changes in real time and provide true in-market comparables, giving dealerships more accurate data to make pricing decisions, manage inventory, and merchandise effectively.
Since acquiring AutoVision in June, Reynolds has pushed to build the product into the Reynolds Retail Management System. As a result, summit attendees will have a chance to see this new technology ahead of its full release next year and sign up to get early access.
“The anticipation around the work we’ve accomplished is palpable and motivating,” said AJ McGowan, president of AutoVision. “We couldn’t be more eager to get the world’s first truly unified DMS-based solution into dealers’ hands.”
Reynolds is also featuring Service Snap 2.0, a brand-new video- and picture-capturing tool for service professionals, released for Advanced Service. Attendees will get to see and try Service Snap 2.0 for themselves. This tool enhances the user experience with a fresh new user interface and enhanced performance. Service customers will experience increased audio quality, with built-in noise cancellation. When they view videos through eApproval, they’ll have automatic closed captioning support. Service Snap 2.0 also allows technicians to take multiple pictures without having to stop a recording.
“When it comes to connecting to service customers and getting buy-in on repairs, seeing is believing,” said Jason Sideris, vice president of fixed operations product management for Reynolds. “The more professional the video looks and sounds, the more effective it will be as a selling tool. And with the training provided at the summit, we’re showing how to make those videos quickly and easily.”
A take-home demo to train technicians on how to leverage pictures and videos effectively will be available to all attendees.
Other tools making their official debut at the summit include new digital sales tools for aftermarket products in the F&I office. Built specifically into the docuPAD® system, these tools will help F&I managers capitalize on Reynolds’ recent acquisition of American Guardian Warranty Services (AGWS). AGWS is a premier provider of vehicle service contracts, limited warranties, and other F&I products and services.
Meanwhile, attendees of the summit will also have access to workshops that feature industry experts. Brian Pasch will break down how to use a Customer Data Platform, and Don Graff, president of Don Graff Automotive, will tackle employee retention with a primer on how to build an effective and lasting staff. The full workshop itinerary can be found on the summit’s registration page.
“Sharing best practices and identifying missed opportunities through collaboration and discovery moves automotive retailing forward and leads to growth for everyone,” concluded Chris Walsh, president of Reynolds.
