Day in the Life of a Sales Intern
Mary is a sales intern.
“I think Reynolds and Reynolds has definitely changed my perspective on how I view business-to-business selling. I could have a career within this industry.
“I think I know that I’m making an impact on the company because of how much they value us here as interns. They give us real work. That’s how you know that you are here to make a difference, that you’re here to do something a little bit more valuable than just the normal internship.
“I think that Reynolds is the best internship I could have possibly found for myself this summer. I am so excited to be with an amazing company who’s going to invest into their employees and help you succeed in everything you do.
“It’s never going to be a mistake to apply here.”
Alan is a full-time employee who began as a sales intern.
“I was really surprised to see how much Reynolds invested in their interns. Not only did we get to shadow various departments, managers, and executives, but we also got to spend 3 of our 12 weeks during the summer shadowing different roles and we really got to see what life was like for Reynolds salespeople out in the field.
“Something that really surprised me during the summer sales internship was just how strong the relationships that I built over the 12 weeks were. I still keep in contact and I’m still friends, and now fellow co-workers, with some of the other interns.
“After my sales internship, there were a lot of reasons that I wanted to join Reynolds. After getting a summer of exposure to the culture and the facilities that surrounded me, I knew Reynolds was the choice.
“Reynolds really went out of its way for its sales interns to host events that focused on networking, different sports and intramurals, and different outings with both your mentors and executives here in the company.”
Elise is another sales intern.
“I’ve gotten to see the different set of skills that you have to utilize when you’re customer facing or on the phone with a customer.
“I got to go to places that I’ve never been before and also the paid housing, which is really convenient for people who don’t live near here.
“I have had the opportunity to travel to Dallas, Seattle, and San Francisco. It’s been a great time.
“It’s a great feeling knowing that Reynolds hires a lot of their interns, it means they’re really investing in their people. As an intern, that’s really important to me.
“I would tell someone considering an internship with Reynolds to 100% take it. I’ve learned so much and I don’t think I would have learned half as much as I did with any other company.”
